How Upside-Down Text Works
Rotated Characters & Reversal
Unicode does not have a "rotate 180 degrees" flag for plain text. Instead, this generator finds characters in various alphabets and phonetic blocks that resemble upside-down Latin letters (such as ɐ from the IPA block for upside-down a, or ʇ for upside-down t) and reverses the string order so it can be read from right to left.
Popular Use Cases
Inverted text is popular for puzzle answers, playful Twitter bios, joke punchlines, and eye-catching social media comments that require readers to flip their screens.
